Items I've Been Enjoying!

Hello All,
Welcome to another post on the blog that I'm very excited to share with you all, items I've thoroughly been enjoying! I love trying new, healthy things and am always excited to see what new local goods I can find at the market. If not local, then a good brand, in general. For a while now, I've adapted some new lifestyle changes and with those changes came items needed to be purchased regularly and once awhile. Among those items, I have enjoyed some more. I'm so grateful to have these items and love each one dearly. Sometimes it's good to take a step back and see ALL that Jesus has done for you, so you can continue to have a disposition and heart of gratitude to Him. Let's get into the good stuff...
1. My Pink BlenderBottle
Yes, it's my baby! I had prayed for one and found it for a pretty good price (didn't have to pay for shipping/handling either, which is always a plus). I use it every morning for my protein shakes and look forward to it greeting me on the counter! If you've never heard of a BlenderBottle, it's a bottle made for shakes and helps make sure your drink is clump-free when using protein powders or other health powders. The bottle features a metal, wire mixing ball which helps achieve a smooth-tasting shake. It was an affordable investment that I use daily!

2. Coconut Oil
My oh my, how this has become a staple of mine. I cook with it almost every single day; my eggs are scrambled in it, veggies sauteed, and goods are baked with it. It's a perfect option for those who are trying to steer away from inflammatory products and still need those healthy fats for pretty skin, hair, and teeth. It leaves foods with a buttery taste making it another perfect option for those that miss butter, but can't digest it well. Don't get me wrong, I still love butter, but I reach for a cultured one, instead.

3. Kombucha
The gut healthy, rich-probiotic drink to help aid in digestion and soothe upset stomachs! This is a drink of mine that I enjoy. A LOT. It's not for everyone, tastewise, but for those who naturally enjoy it or acquire the liking for it, it is a real treat. My favorite flavor of the brand below is Gingerade. I'm a ginger beer lover and this hits home for me. The Lavender Love is one I enjoy for its lavender accents, which is lovely. I recently made homemade kombucha, so no more store-bought bottles, but I'm looking forward to making homemade varieties with those flavors in mind.

4. Coconut flour
A gluten-free option that I've been enjoying to limit inflammation, which has turned out to be a blessing. This flour happened to be on my 'I can't believe some people cook with this stuff...' list to now on my 'How can people not cook with this flour, it's so amazing?!' list. It's funny how time changes things and apparently, one of those things included my tastebuds. The main reason I didn't enjoy coconut flour back then was due to its dryness. Now, I know to add more liquid to prevent a dry, crumbly texture and taste. Please try this variety of flour and tell me how you feel after consuming it!

I hope you all enjoyed this post and stay tuned for the next one!
See you then, Lord willing,
Hannah
