Creamy Spiced Pumpkin Parfait

This pumpkin yogurt parfait is something that's great for breakfast, as a snack, and a dessert. Sometimes you need new ideas for meals, something seasonal and creative. This breakfast idea is fun, simple, and very fall friendly. I pray you enjoy this recipe and tell me how you like it in the comments!


INGREDIENTS


FOR CREAMY SPICED PUMPKIN

Organic, or minimal ingredient list canned pumpkin

Farm-fresh raw milk

Farm-fresh raw butter

Farm-fresh heavy cream

Vanilla extract

Cinnamon

Nutmeg

Allspice

Hint of black pepper


FOR YOGURT

I used a plain whole milk cream top yogurt.


FOR GRANOLA Use your favorite granola that you know would match a spiced pumpkin flavor. I chose a raisin almond granola, which was absolutely tasty!


*Measurements of each ingredient depends on preference.


INSTRUCTIONS

In a pot on low-medium heat, add your pumpkin and let that warm up. Once pumpkin is warm, add your butter and stir. Place lid halfway on pot. Once butter is melted, add your milk and heavy cream until pumpkin is nice and lightened in color. Add your spices and vanilla extract. Stir, set aside, and let cool.


Once the creamy spiced pumpkin is cooled, add some to a bowl, then the yogurt on top, then granola, and of course, a couple of dallops of more pumpkin on top.
